Meet Vivian
Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and the person who will be listening to you.
Her Story
Why Holistic Care Psychiatry exists
Vivian Chioma Akabueze has always believed that good psychiatric care starts with genuinely listening, not with a checklist. Early in her nursing career, she noticed how often patients felt rushed through appointments, or left without fully understanding their own treatment plan.
That experience shaped her patient-first philosophy: every person deserves time, clarity, and a provider who treats them as a whole individual rather than a diagnosis. She founded Holistic Care Psychiatry to offer exactly that kind of care, virtually, to patients across Georgia.
Vivian's approach is collaborative and evidence-based. She listens before she treats, explains her reasoning clearly, and works with each patient to build a plan that reflects their goals, values, and life circumstances.
